We’re Going to Run 1,000KM in Prototype 001
The first TAUDON APEX prototype exists.
Which means the easy part is over.
Now we try to break it.
The objective is to accumulate 1,000 kilometres in Prototype 001 and document what happens.
Not 20 kilometres for some photos.
Not one fast session followed by a review.
Actual training.
Easy runs.
Long runs.
Fast sessions.
Track work.
Rain.
Hills.
And a lot of ordinary kilometres.
The first prototype has already taught us things we’d change.
That’s exactly what a prototype is supposed to do.
The information from this testing will feed directly into Prototype 002.
Upper construction can change.
TPU placement can change.
Fit can change.
Weight can change.
Even decisions that originally seemed obvious are open to being questioned.
We’re also exploring different factory platforms and construction methods rather than assuming the first solution is automatically the final one.
That’s why we’re documenting the kilometres publicly.
At some point, TAUDON APEX will become a finished running shoe.
But when that happens, we want to be able to show exactly how it got there.
Prototype 001.
1,000 kilometres.
Then we build it again.
BUILT. TESTED. REFINED.
