Why We’re Testing Sorona + Cotton for Running

Can You Actually Make a Good Running Shirt Without Making It Feel Like Plastic?
Polyester dominates performance running apparel for a reason.
It’s light, cheap, durable and dries quickly.
But does every running shirt need to be 100% polyester?
We’ve been testing something different.
Our AeroDry tee uses a cotton and Sorona® blend designed to sit somewhere between an everyday cotton T-shirt and conventional synthetic performance apparel.
And we’ve actually been wearing it rather than simply reading the fabric specification.
One of the things that surprised us during testing was how wearable the fabric remained after repeated use.
It has the soft hand-feel you’d associate with cotton, while the Sorona component changes the way the garment behaves compared with a conventional cotton tee.
That’s important because TAUDON isn’t interested in having 30 nearly identical shirts.
We’d rather find one really versatile tee that works across running, training, travelling and everyday wear.
That’s what we’re currently trying to determine with AeroDry.
The product will keep evolving as we test it.
Because that’s becoming a recurring theme around here:
Don’t assume. Run in it.
