150 Kilometres on the Camino

Most clothing tests don’t need a laboratory.
Sometimes you just need to give someone a shirt and let them disappear with it for a week.
Tim recently took one of our TAUDON AeroDry tees with him on the Camino.
Around 150 kilometres of walking in a week.
Long days. Repeated wear. Packs. Sweat. Weather. Washing. Putting it back on again the next morning.
Exactly the kind of unglamorous use that tells you far more about an everyday garment than a studio photoshoot ever will.
The AeroDry tee was never designed as a race top.
Its role is different.
It’s the shirt you travel in.
Walk in.
Work in.
Throw on after training.
Wear repeatedly without it immediately feeling like technical sportswear.
The fabric we’re developing uses 73% cotton and 27% Sorona®, giving it the feel and structure of a substantial everyday tee while introducing more stretch, recovery and performance than conventional cotton.
And that is really what TAUDON’s Everyday range is supposed to be.
Not activewear pretending to be casual clothing.
And not a fashion tee pretending it can perform.
Something in between.
Seeing one of the first AeroDry pieces travel 150 kilometres down the Camino wasn’t a planned test.
Which probably makes it one of the better ones.
Products eventually have to leave the studio.
Then real life decides whether the ideas were any good.
